Stepping out of the office door, we have a balcony.. of sorts. It looks over the lobby which has a glass wall three stories high. This is the view out that window tonight at 8:30 pm. Unfortunately the picture doesn't do it justice.

Monday mornings mean one thing... Chick-fillet! While there we saw a poor kid stuck in a cow outfit! Too funny.. just as the camera clicked, the poor shmuck fell on his face! Now that was priceless, shame I only have him on his way down...

On my drive home there is a certain stop light that I almost always catch a red at. If you remember ten days ago (May 19th) I took pictures at night, one of them was from that stop light. Today as I sat at that same stop light I chuckled. When the sun is up, its not even remotely as impressive.

I had to go downtown today. Greer building is across the street from the capitol. Unfortunately from where I was parked, the trees were in the way of the whole building, so I simply zoomed in to the top portion.

Day 21
I was at work rather late tonight. Yes again. This time only to 7:30 not 9pm. Anyhow, I was pulling my purse out of my drawer and grabbing my keys, you know. The usual things one does before leaving the office each night: restart the computer, straighten the desk, prioritize things for the next day, leave nothing out that is confidential, grab your stuff and get the frell out. Only tonight I realized, I can't put things away, there is too much to prioritize, thankfully none of it is confidential but still. My desk is a nightmare! This is what happens when you go on vacation for a week. I've stayed late almost every day to get my desk back. I think I've finally made a dent.
Everything on the left is to be filed, everything on the right is either data input or expense reports. *cringes* ah well... job security.

Interesting... that was the camera propped on my shoulder while moving... this one I stopped at a red light. I love my camera!

Traditionally when I go on vacation, I read. A lot. Not just on the plane, but in the hotel room or by the pool or whenever we aren't doing something else.. this past trip I made it through both Twilight and New Moon so when I got home, Peanut handed me book three; Eclipse.

From May 10 - 13 Robbie and I went to New York. I had no access to a computer so I had to wait until we got home to update. Anyhow, while on the ferry at Ellis Island, Robbie looked up and asked if I saw what he saw.. yup. I did. It was beautiful.

The view from the office window... one of the reasons I love Austin. Its city enough for me, yet country enough for da hubs. Hmmm... shame its such a hazy day.

My father and his wife are on their way home from Hilo, Hawaii. I saw these and thought of them. *ponders* Actually by the time this is posted, they'll be home. Anyhow, I love the rich color of this plant... not that I know the name of it.
Speaking of plants, I saw these and thought... I want it! Now to figure out what the name of it is and talk my gardener and hubs in to getting it for me.
